Notes

Sprig is back! To make it happen, I spent the month of April writing as many words as I could handle. By the end of it, I had written over 50,000 words, and 23 new chapters, easily beating my previous monthly record of 30,225 words. If those just sound like numbers to you, the average novel is around 90-100K. I just wrote half of that in a month, so I'm happy with the results!

As of May 3rd, new chapters of Sprig are now being released as well. So future months will probably be closer to 30K words, but I'd be happy to make my previous record the new normal. Part of the reason for this shift is that I decided I wanted to take my writing more seriously during the break. I don't want to struggle to get chapters out. I don't want to let my readers down. I want to do this as more than just a hobby. So I opened a publishing company to handle all of my book releases, including some non-fiction endeavors. And I'm committing to a stricter writing and editing schedule to keep myself on track.

If this is the first your hearing about any of this, you might also be interested in looking around the other recent blog posts. In the past two months, I have released two new paperbacks, rebranded Sprig, and announced the first book, which will combine arcs 1 through 7.

There's a lot of exciting stuff coming really soon so make sure you're subscribed to get the latest updates! Also, I post all of my stories for free, so if you like what I'm doing, please consider supporting me on Patreon to say thanks and get patron-exclusive perks as well!

Thanks for reading!
